The project journey
How a Seco project runs
Every project follows the same path. Here's what each stage means and where you come in.
Request intake
Something arrives — from you, from your Seco contact, or from an internal idea.
Where you come in — You can raise an enquiry here.
Assessment & qualification
We decide whether this becomes a project. Commercial fit first, then technical.
Where you come in — We may come back with questions.
Route decision
We decide how to approach it and write the prescription for the delivery team.
Pre-sales & offer
We build the technical and commercial proposal, and a plan of what we'd do.
Where you come in — You'll see the proposal when it's issued.
Present & negotiate
We talk it through and revise until it's right.
Where you come in — This is a conversation, and it can take a while.
Agreement
A purchase order, letter of intent, or long-term agreement.
Delivery
The work. Plan, milestones, and the shared action log.
Where you come in — This is where you'll spend your time here.
Feedback & closure
We ask how it went. Then we close it.
Where you come in — We'll ask you for feedback, and it's short.
A project is never reopened
If there's follow-on work, it becomes a new project linked to this one. That keeps the record of what was actually delivered clean.
Stage names, not gate numbers
Different parts of Seco count these differently. The names are what matter.
